• Monday 22 May 2023 Arts Week 2023 We are really excited to announce the plans for Arts Week 2023.
• Thursday 4 May 2023 Consultation to lower Age Range from 4-11 to 2-11 Devon County Council is consulting on a proposal to lower the age range of Denbury Primary School from 4-11 to 2-11 years of age with effect from September 2023.

• Monday 23 January 2023 Library Launch Event! We are excited to announce that local children’s author, Clare Helen Welsh, will be visiting our school on Tuesday 7th February to help us celebrate the opening of our new library! All children will have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Clare’s books from independent bookseller, The Ivybridge Bookshop. There will also be a book sale after school. However, to avoid disappointment and to ensure your book is in stock, orders can be returned to the school office by 30th January containing the exact money in a named, labelled envelope. Books will then be signed by Clare and will come home with the children on the day.

• Friday 11 November 2022 New library plans! Exciting news!We are very excited to announce that thanks to the amazing fundraising efforts of the FODS we will be getting a new library in school soon.
• Thursday 10 November 2022 Rowcroft Rudolph Run returns to Denbury for 2022! We are so excited to tell you that we are taking part in the Rowcroft Rudolph Run again this year!The Rudolph Run is a sponsored run (or walk) in aid of Rowcroft Hospice. Our run is taking place on 9th December and children will be running in the school grounds.Please watch our video from Rudolph:The Hospice provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and reaches thousands of local people. In addition, they offer support to families and loved ones to help them to come to terms with the loss of someone significant in their lives. Last year it cost over £9 million to provide their services, most of which comes through fundraising, so they heavily rely on the generosity and support of the local community.Your child will soon be given a pencil and a sponsorship form so they can collect sponsorship for their run. We ask that each child tries to raise at least £2 to support the hospice, but don’t worry, any child that isn’t able to raise this amount wo

A huge round of applause for Haytor class and Mrs Foxford for completing their incredible challenge. They walked just over 8 miles from Haytor rocks to Haytor class and raised £500 in sponsorship money to be shared between Dartmoor National Park and the school library
